Standard monthly fee: 4,180 Yen (including 10% tax).
Activation month: You will pay a one-time activation fee of 3,850 Yen plus a prorated amount based on the day your service starts.
2. Installation: How much will you pay?
The cost depends on whether your building already has the necessary fiber optic wiring:
Scenario A (Wiring needed): You will initially pay an extra 1,320 Yen/month during the first 6 month. However, SoftBank offers a Support benefit starting from Month 7 that covers this cost for 19 months (a total value of 25,080 Yen).
Scenario B (Wiring ready): You only pay a one-time construction fee of 4,620 Yen in your second month. This amount is eventually refunded to you starting from Month 7.

3. Important contract rules:
Payment method: SoftBank requires monthly payments via Bank Transfer. They do not accept credit cards or cash for this specific service.
The “Golden window” for cancellation: Your contract typically follows a 2-year cycle. To avoid a penalty (usually 1 month’s fee), you must cancel after finish your 2 year contract and during the 3-month free window (Months 24, 25, and 26).
